The news on the web today is that Twitter may be heading to Hollywood.

Variety reported that a Twitter TV project was announced by Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment yesterday, May 25th. According to the Twitter Blog, they have merely a  “lightweight”  agreement with the producers, although there are a lot of related ideas in the works.

One of Brillstein’s exec producers involved in the potential project, Jon Liebman stated:

“We’ve found a compelling way to bring the immediacy of Twitter to life on TV.”

It’s too soon to tell when we can expect an official Twitter television series, but we’ve been warned.
